One of the recent developments is the complete cracking of the footwell area of the front.  The weight of the fuel tank and the abuse I have put this thing through have taken it's toll.  Unfortunately this harkens the bug's demise as it is not worth fixing.

 

With the radiator inside, it was not getting enough airflow so one afternoon I decided to move it to the back.  Now I get airflow to the radiator and it is less than 120 degrees inside the car.

This is what happens when you have multiple holes drilled in the springplate.  They tend to break between them and allow the arm to move however it wants.  The only solution was to dig up another springplate and get it replaced.
